AI Privacy Policy

We will collect information that you actively provide when using the services, as well as information generated during your use of features or receipt of services that is collected through automated means, in the following ways.

Intelligent Conversation

We provide conversation and interaction services to you based on generative artificial intelligence model technology. You may send text and other content to us through the dialog box, and we automatically receive the above information in order to provide conversation services to you. At the same time, to provide you with a better real-time call interaction experience, we will process your voice input to distinguish user voice from ambient sounds and to achieve voice enhancement effects.

If you wish to opt out of this information collection, you may contact us through the methods published in Article 7 of this Agreement. You may view and learn in detail, through the algorithm and model filing disclosure statement, the basic principles, purposes, intentions, and main operating mechanisms of the model technology used by the intelligent AI assistant.

We will not use your data for secondary training or optimization of models.

When you use search services, we will automatically receive the information you actively enter in order to automatically provide real-time search results to you. Some search results may be related to your location. To display such search results, we will also collect your geographic location information.

(1) Location-based search services

When you ask us for information about nearby locations, for example, when you ask, "What is the weather near me?", we may need to collect your approximate geographic location in order to answer your question and to recommend nearby stores and/or service information to you. Such geographic location may include approximate geographic location information obtained through sensor information such as GPS sensors, WLAN access points, Bluetooth, and base stations.

If you refuse to provide it, we will not obtain your geographic location based on GPS sensors, but this will not affect the normal use of other functions we provide.

You may also like, dislike, copy, or otherwise process the content output by us. We will collect your operation information in order to continuously improve the quality of our services.

If the chat information, submitted information, or other content you enter contains another person's personal information, you must obtain that person's lawful authorization before providing such information, so as to avoid improper disclosure of another person's information.

Changes to the Purposes for Collecting and Using Personal Information

Please understand that, as our business develops, the functions of the AI Assistant and the services provided may be adjusted, changed, or upgraded. In principle, when new functions or services are related to the functions or services we currently provide, the collection and use of personal information will have a direct or reasonable connection with the original processing purposes. Where there is no direct or reasonable connection with the original processing purposes, we will again inform you separately and obtain your consent by page prompts, interaction processes, or agreement confirmation in accordance with laws, regulations, and national standards before collecting or using your personal information.

Exceptions to Obtaining Authorized Consent

Please understand that, in the following circumstances, pursuant to laws, regulations, and relevant national standards, we do not need to obtain your prior authorized consent to collect and use your personal information:

Where it is related to our performance of obligations prescribed by laws and regulations;

Where it is directly related to national security or national defense security;

Where it is directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;

Where it is directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments;

Where it is for the purpose of protecting major lawful rights and interests, such as the life or property of you or another person, and it is difficult to obtain the individual's authorized consent;

Where the personal information has been disclosed to the public by you on your own;

Where it is necessary for entering into or performing a contract at the request of the personal information subject;

Where your personal information is collected from information lawfully and publicly disclosed, such as lawful news reports or government information disclosure channels;

Where it is necessary to maintain the secure and stable operation of the software and related services, such as discovering and handling faults in the software and related services;

Where it is necessary for lawful news reporting;

Where it is necessary for an academic research institution to conduct statistical or academic research based on public interest, and the personal information contained in the results is de-identified when the academic research results or descriptions are provided externally;

Other circumstances prescribed by laws and regulations.

We specifically remind you that, if information cannot identify your personal identity either alone or in combination with other information, it is not your personal information in the legal sense. When your information can identify your personal identity either alone or in combination with other information, or when data that we cannot associate with any specific personal information is used in combination with your other personal information, such information will be treated and protected as your personal information under this Privacy Policy during the period of combined use.

Storage Location

In accordance with laws and regulations, we will store your personal information collected and generated during operations within the territory of the People's Republic of China. Currently, we will not transfer the above information outside China. If we transfer it overseas, we will strictly comply with relevant Chinese laws and regulatory policies, and will follow relevant national requirements or obtain your consent.

Storage Period

We are committed to making every effort to protect the security of your personal information and will retain your personal information only for the period necessary to provide AI Assistant services, without retaining it beyond what is necessary. For example:

·The information you enter, likes, dislikes, and related information will be retained and used to provide you with continuous business functions during the period before you withdraw, delete, or cancel your account.

If you cancel your account, actively delete personal information, or the necessary period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except in the following circumstances:

·Where we comply with laws and regulations on information retention.

·Where it is necessary to reasonably extend the period for purposes such as finance, audit, or dispute resolution.

We attach great importance to the security of your personal information and will endeavor to take reasonable security measures, including technical and management measures, to protect your personal information and prevent the personal information you provide from being improperly used or accessed, publicly disclosed, used, modified, damaged, lost, or leaked without authorization.

We will use encryption technology, anonymization, and other reasonable and feasible means that are no less protective than those used by industry peers to protect your personal information, and will use security protection mechanisms to prevent malicious attacks against your personal information.

We will establish dedicated security departments, security management systems, and data security processes to protect the security of your personal information. We adopt strict data use and access systems to ensure that only authorized personnel may access your personal information, and we conduct security audits of data and technology as appropriate.

Although we have taken the above reasonable and effective measures and have complied with the standards required by relevant laws, please understand that, due to technical limitations and the possible existence of various malicious means, in the Internet industry, even if security measures are strengthened to the greatest extent possible, it is impossible to always guarantee 100% security of information. We will do our best to ensure the security of the personal information you provide to us.

You acknowledge and understand that the systems and communication networks you use to access our services may encounter problems due to factors beyond our control. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you take active measures to protect the security of personal information, including but not limited to using complex passwords, changing passwords regularly, and not disclosing your account password or related personal information to others.

We will develop an emergency response plan and, when a user information security incident occurs, immediately activate the emergency response plan and strive to prevent the impact and consequences of such security incident from expanding. Once a user information security incident, such as leakage or loss, occurs, we will, in accordance with laws and regulations, promptly inform you of the basic circumstances and possible impact of the security incident, the measures we have taken or will take, recommendations for you to independently prevent and reduce risks, and remedial measures for you. We will promptly inform you of the relevant circumstances of the incident by push notification, email, letter, SMS, or other relevant means. Where it is difficult to inform users individually, we will publish an announcement in a reasonable and effective manner. We will also report the handling of the user information security incident as required by relevant regulatory authorities.

Once you leave Camtells and related services to browse or use other websites, services, or content resources, we will have no ability or direct obligation to protect any personal information you submit on software or websites outside Camtells and related services, regardless of whether your login, browsing, or use of such software or websites is based on links or guidance from Camtells.

We attach great importance to your management of personal information, and will make every effort to protect your rights to access, copy, correct, supplement, delete, withdraw consent or authorization, cancel your account, file complaints and reports, and set privacy functions with respect to your personal information, so that you can protect your privacy and information security.

Account Cancellation

You may cancel your account through [Account] - [Settings] - [Account and Security] - [Cancel Account]. Before you cancel your account, we will verify your personal identity, security status, device information, and other information. You acknowledge and understand that account cancellation is irreversible. After you cancel your account, we will stop providing any services to you and delete all information related to your account or anonymize relevant information. Where personal information must be retained under laws and regulations, we undertake to store such information separately and not use it in daily business activities.

Feedback, Complaints, and Reports

You may provide feedback, make a complaint, or submit a report in accordance with the system we publish. If you or another authorized subject has any claim, request, or question regarding the exercise of personal information rights granted by relevant laws and regulations, or if you have any comments, believe that your personal information rights may have been infringed, or discover clues indicating infringement of personal information rights, you may contact us at support@camtells.com. We will review the issue involved as soon as possible and reply within fifteen working days after verifying your user identity.

Accessing the Privacy Policy

You may access the Privacy Policy in the Camtells App through "Account -- Settings -- Privacy Policy Management -- AI Privacy Policy."

Cessation of Operations and Notice to You

If we cease operations, we will promptly stop collecting your personal information, notify you of the cessation of operations by individual delivery or announcement, and delete or anonymize the personal information we hold about you.

We attach great importance to the protection of minors' personal information.

If you are a minor under the age of 18, before using this product and related services, you should read and agree to this Privacy Policy together with your parent or other guardian under their supervision and guidance.

If you are a minor under the age of 14 (a "Child"), you need to obtain your guardian's consent before using the AI Assistant and related services.

If you are the guardian of a minor under the age of 14, before the minor uses the AI Assistant and related services, your ward should read and agree to this Privacy Policy.

We protect minors' personal information in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations. We will collect, use, or disclose minors' personal information only where permitted by law, with the express consent of parents or other guardians, or where necessary to protect minors. If we discover that we have collected a minor's personal information without first obtaining verifiable guardian consent, we will endeavor to delete the relevant information as soon as possible.

If you are the guardian of a minor and have other questions about the personal information of the minor under your guardianship, please contact us through the contact information published in Article 7 of this Privacy Policy.

To provide you with better services, the AI Assistant and related services will be updated and changed from time to time. We will revise this Privacy Policy as appropriate, and such revisions constitute part of this Privacy Policy and have the same effect as this Privacy Policy. Without your express consent, we will not reduce the rights you are entitled to under the currently effective Privacy Policy.

After this Privacy Policy is updated, we will release the updated version in the AI Assistant and remind you of the updated content through an official website announcement or other appropriate means before the updated terms take effect, so that you can promptly learn about the latest version of this Privacy Policy.
